HueArts & Cultures: Advocating for Museums of Color

Join Museum Hue for a timely conversation about arts and cultural institutions founded and led by Black, Indigenous, Latino/e/x, Asian, Middle Eastern, and all People of Color. This gathering will include perspectives from museum leaders on the advisory board of our newest research report, HueArts & Cultures: Northeast, as well as an exclusive preview of the research highlights and plans for expanding the project nationally. Beyond the data, we will discuss the power of sharing our own stories publicly and collectively advocating for these institutions—who are always at the very forefront of equitable, community-based arts and culture.
This event is free and open to the public with Eventbrite sign up, but is also conveniently scheduled following day 1 of the Alliance of American Museum’s Museums Advocacy Day programming for those attending.
