What is museum hue?
Museum Hue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing equity and representation for Black, Indigenous, Latino/e/x, Asian, Middle Eastern and all People of Color across the arts and cultural sector through advocacy, research, community building, and resource sharing.
What we do
Community
We are a membership-based arts service organization and professional network that celebrates cultural diversity—including intersectionality and supportive allyship.
Support
We promote knowledge sharing and resources supporting the entire cultural sector as well as arts entities of color, including leadership cohorts, workforce development, public panels and symposia, job postings, and more.
Research
We research and document the contributions of arts and cultural organizations of color, which informs our advocacy and programs—through publicly accessible reports, digital maps, and a video docu-series.
Advocacy
We work with an intersectional coalition to advocate for equitable funding, opportunities, and policies for arts and cultural organizations of color and the communities they serve.

No, Museum Hue is not a museum. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and membership-based arts service organization with individual and institutional members in New York and across the nation. We celebrate the diversity and vitality of the arts and culture sector.
No, Museum Hue does not have a physical location at this time. Our team primarily works remotely, but you can see us at in-person programming held at partnering museums and other cultural spaces.

No, you don’t need to be a member to attend Museum Hue events. We warmly welcome non-members to all our public programs and events, which are mostly free or low-cost.
